10 bible verses to conquer your august with! August is here, and we all know what that means...summer's basically over, school's about to start and we need Jesus to conquer this new season. Needless to say, we need Him all of the time, in every season! So, since we recently flipped the calendar to beautiful August, I'm gonna share 10 Bible verses with you for this month! 1.) Psalm 27:1 "The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?" 2.) 1 timothy 4:12 "Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity." 3.) colossians 3:20 "Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord." 4.) Joshua 1:9 "Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee withersoever thou goest." 5.) proverbs 15:5 "A fool despiseth his father's instruction: but he that regardeth reproof is prudent." 6.) Galatians 5:22-23 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law." 7.) philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ which stengtheneth me." 8.) Philippians 4:19 "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." 9.) Philippians 4:6-7 "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." 10.) Proverbs 3:5-7 "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil." I hope that this helps you guys as August begins. I really tried to incorporate things that not only kids and teens could relate to, but adults as well. And that's what's so great about the Bible it's for everyone and everybody! Whether you're going back to school, starting a new job, or just going about your regular day, I pray these verses provided a comfort and new spark of hope! Let me know some of your favorite Bible verses in the comment section below! I love you guys so much and you're in my prayers! Keep Smiling, rosepetalsandfaith <3
