Behind every crinkle at the corner of eyes. With each tear that's shed. Underneath the scars...there's a story to be told. Everyone has a story.
There's Jonah and the great fish. God had called Jonah to preach to a specific city, a wicked city. But Jonah disobeyed God, and God punished him for not listening to Him. Three days later when Jonah was out of the belly of the fish, THEN Jonah decided to obey God. What you can learn from his story is to obey God the first time He calls you to do something. Listen to Him!
A story that encourages me is Noah and the ark. God remembered Noah and his family and saved them from The Great Flood. Why does it encourage me? Because God remembers the ones that labor for Him, the ones that sacrifice their lives for Him. He never forgets.
David and Goliath. Such a small boy, going against a huge, strong Philistine. It shows that if you fully go after something, putting your entire trust and life in Him, He will give you victory. Whether it be in this life, or the life to come.
An anonymous person recently privately messaged me, telling me that my blog and account had made her want to draw closer to God. It made her want to have a better relationship with Him. I can't thank God enough for that, and all glory goes to Him! Maybe it was a story of mine that sparked an interest in her heart. Who knows?
My point is, everyone has a story. It needs to be shared. You never know what kind of hope it could provide for a person, or even multiple people! Many Bible accounts (and so many more than the ones I have shared with you today) have inspired millions of people -all ages- to become better as an individual. They want to uplift others, and share their stories of overcoming, and the hope and love they have received.
Everyone has a story. What's yours? Comment it below or message me on any of my social medias! :)
