To the Girl Who Feels Alone...
I've been there, and trust me, there are so many girls who feel the same exact way that you do now. But the truth is simply this...YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!!
To the girl who's sitting behind this screen, wondering why no one's listening, why life feels so void and empty. I'm here as a friend, and sister, to encourage and uplift you as best as I know how.
A man called Jesus loves you so very much. As a matter of fact, He died for you. The Bible says that there's no love like a person that will lay his life down for a friend. Jesus did that for you!
While yes, Jesus asks you to pick up your cross and follow Him. It's not that hard when He gives you a friendship closer than a brother or sister in return. He openly welcomes you into His arms, and He doesn't run away at your broken, messy life. If people knew about my ugly sins, they would run away in a heartbeat, but God casts them away and forgets them...as far as the east is to the west.
My joy is so full when I dive into His Word. I really suggest something like the book of Luke, Proverbs, Psalm, or Song of Solomon in this time that you feel down and alone. It's an encouragement to the soul. Because God's love for you is deeper than the ocean and wider than the widest valley on earth.
It's hard to imagine, I know. But isn't it so cool to know that there's Someone else out there Who loves you more? More than your brokenness, more than your heartbreak, your past, and ugly scars? He sees past that, and He sees someone so beautiful and fit for His Kingdom.
All you have to do is reach out and grab His hand, trust in Him, give Him your heart, and your emptiness will be no more! Bad days will come but they will not even compare to the ones without God, because this time you have Someone mighty on your side, who has already won your battle!
I love you and care for you, you can beat this feeling inside of you. Discover your identity and worth in Christ. He cares for you, and He loves you more.
