Your Worth In Christ I will be the first to admit that I used to think I was hideous. I used to think that my life wouldn't amount to much. I created this negative space in my mind, and no one could tell me different. It was like I would wake up in the morning, look in the mirror, and want to cry. But then one day...I had a wake up call, because Psalm 139:14 proved that what I had been telling myself and what I thought beauty and life was, wrong. Everything God's Word said about my beauty and worth contradicted with what satan was trying to tell me. God says that I'm fearfully and wonderfully made. Satan tried to tell me I was ugly and worthless. I knew Who I wanted to believe, so I had to step out of those lies and realize and truly believe that God was right. And when I did, it set me free. It really does start with those little passages in the Bible. The only way you can change your mindset is if you crack open your Bible and explore God's truth. If you go on to read Psalm 139- which I really recommend, because it's such a good Psalm- it says God's precious thoughts of us are more than the sand in the sea! God adores us. It's small little passages like that, that show us our worth in Christ. John 3:16 is a good one too, because it tells us that God loved us so much, He sent His only Son to die for us and give us Heaven with Him. The Bible says that there's no greater love than a man that will lay His life down for His friends. You can have a friend in Jesus! In His eyes, you are His precious child, and He loves you immensely. The only way you will ever know your worth in Jesus Christ is if you open up your Bible and read about what He did for you and I. About the little passages that show you how important you are to Him. Then you have to take that leap of faith and believe that you are His beautiful creation. That's when true happiness and contentment in your life and appearance with be at it's fullest. That's when you can look the devil straight in the eyes and tell him he's a liar, because God has plans you. You are not worthless, you are full of worth.
