Obviously, Christmas is not about what's under the tree. It's about the birth of our Savior Jesus! Without Him, we wouldn't have the greatest gift of all...eternal life! So this year, keep that in mind. The gifts--they aren't what matter. Love the ones around you closely and thank God on High for sending His only Son for you and I.
With that said, I hope you enjoy this blogpost and I hope you have a very Merry Christmas season filled with hope and joy. Also, remember that a gift doesn't have to require spending tons of money. It's the thought that counts. Send someone a hug, make cookies and visit the elderly, and spend time with a friend laughing. The best gifts aren't always the ones that are wrapped in big bows. Jesus came in a manger. Isn't that a lovely picture? The humbleness. The love behind it all...that's what matters most.
Christmas gift guide.
1.) Aloe Infused Socks.
These aloe infused socks are my favorite kind of socks! You definitely cannot go wrong with fuzzy socks, but aloe infused fuzzy socks? LOVE! My best friend's little sister gifted me a pair last year and even with many washes, they still feel brand new! I could wear a pair of these all the time. It's like a soothing fluffy pillow for your feet. A woman can never have too many fuzzy socks. ;)
2.) DIY Funfetti Cookies in a jar.
Homemade gifts are a wonderful option to go with. They show how much time you put into making a gift that's coming from the heart. And most likely, they'll be the ones others remember the most! I love this cookie mix in a jar idea! The teen class in my church will be doing a Christmas version of this and handing them out with Christmas Play invitations when we go Christmas caroling! Click here to see how to do it yourself, and for the cute labels I used as well!
3.) Halo portable charger.
This thing has been a lifesaver multiple times for me! Especially when it's been a long day at the mall and my phone's dying and I'm not near an outlet. It's a great convenience! Not only is it a good gift for girls, but also men as well! They come in a variety of sizes, shapes, and colors. They even make ones to jump your car if the battery is dead. Talk about cool! This rose gold one is super pretty!
4.) Marshall's & T.J.Maxx candles.
Ya girl loves Bath & Body Works, don't get me wrong, but sometimes their candles can be a bit overpriced if I'm going to be honest. That's why I love going to Marshall's or T.J.Maxx to candle shop now! Not only are their candles cheaper, but there's oodles of varieties. I guarantee you will find some delicious smelling candles that will make great gifts! Who doesn't love candles?
5.) Themed gift sets.
I've always loved the idea of the themed gift sets/baskets/jars! I think it's such an adorable way to add a personal touch to someone's gift. Getting to pick out everything to go in it is so fun! And it doesn't have to be overly expensive to be a great gift, remember that! ;)
6.) Cute water bottles.
I don't know, I have a weird obsession with cute water bottles. Am I the only one? Probably hahaha. But no, I find when I have a cute water bottle, I drink more water! These water bottles are so stinkin' cute and I think they would make a perfect gift for someone!
7.) 365 Bible Verses in a jar.
Like I said, I love gifts in a jar. This one in particular is such a great encouragement for a soul sister/brother. I created two pictures for gift tags in the slideshow above incase you wanted a girly version or boy version! It's a gift that screams, I care for your soul. I love you. Such an inspirational gift that keeps on giving for a person to set on their desk or by the door or even in the car, and to pull out a Bible a Bible verse meant for uplifting the soul. Below are even the verses that I put together for the 365 that I did! Feel free to print it yourself and use it for a gift!
8.) Kindness Cards.
These kindness cards have such a good intent behind them. There are 25 in a set and basically they're random little positive notes that you can hand out to anyone with the hope for a smile and being a light. I think these would make such cute, neat little gifts.
9.) Church notes journal.
I love this church notes journal. It's simply designed and perfect for fitting in all of those colorfully organized notes! This would make a great gift for an avid note taker, or as an encouragement to a young Christian starting out and wanting to study the Bible more thoroughly.
10.) The Happy Planner.
When I discovered this planner at Walmart a while back, I gushed over it! I love planning things out and staying organized, also with the realization that I can't plan out my entire life, but I can stay organized with my time management. I feel like this agenda kit/line just makes it more fun, cute, and girly! I honestly think any girl would love this. It's almost like scrapbooking! :P
