DIY Pumpkin Crates!
Happy Monday Pumpkin! ;)
Today, I thought I'd share with ya a super fun and EASY DIY project, that is super inexpensive!
My youth class in Sunday school did this project on a picnic. You can make wooden crates look 10 bajillion times better, and have lots of fun while doing so!
I'm too excited to keep typing this, so lets get into the fun part! :P
HOW TO Make Pumpkin Crates:
You Will Need (Slideshow of supplies):
Step By Step Instructions:
Turn the bottom of what would be a normal crate to face forward like in one of the pictures in the slideshow above. You're going to drill a screw in the stub of wood into what would now be the top of the crate, going through the wood on the inside of the crate. (This step is harder to explain, so I hope the pictures go into greater detail. I'm a blonde so please excuse my directions LOL!)
Time to paint, paint, paint! This is where you get totally creative! White pumpkins, gold glitter, simple orange, and even jack-O-lanterns! Have fun with it :)
Once your painted crate IS DRY, wrap some perrttyyyy burlap twine around your stub of wood, tie it in a bow, and let the strings dangle for decoration!
YOU'RE DONE! I know what you're thinking girl, that easy? I'm here to tell you...that easy. And it's SO. STINKING. CUTE. You're welcome for making your front porch look even cuter this year. ;)
Now, I'll let you run to your local craft store to pick up some supplies so you can get your DIY on!
