10 Bible Verses for October Hi there and happy happy Friday! It's October already, and after Halloween's over, everyone (or is it just me?) will be breaking out the Christmas music! :P But since it is the beginning of a new month, I want to give ya'll some verses to look to. God's Word comforts us, gives us hope, and wisdom. I'm here to share 10 passages with you in this blogpost! Scroll down for more! 1.) 2 Corinthians 12:10 "Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong." 2.) Isaiah 53:5 "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." 3.) Psalm 139:17-18 "How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I wake, I am still with thee." 4.) John 20:29 "Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed." 5.) Luke 1:45 "And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord." 6.) Philippians 4:6-7 "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." 7.) 1 John 3:18"My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth." 8.) Exodus 14:14 "The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace." 9.) Proverbs 16:24 "Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones." 10.) Psalm 61:2"From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I." I hope you enjoyed! As I wrote this, each Bible verse made my heart flutter. God's Word is so magnificent, and I'm learning as I get older to lean on it and His promises. I hope you are too!
Have a lovely weekend and God Bless! Keep Smiling, rosepetalsandfaith <3
