Think about your personal testimony. No one else’s but yours. Your life. What has been done in your life? How much work has gotten done in your life? Now…think about God’s works…the Bible cannot contain all His marvelous works. The WORLD cannot contain His works (KJV John 21:25 “And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written…”). Obviously, we can’t even begin to compare to God, because He’s…well…GOD. He’s amazing.
We are human, we make mistakes. We are not perfect. I accept that. Do you? I accept the testimony and life that God has given me, because His ways and thoughts are higher and better than mine (KJV Isaiah 55:8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.”). If I had control of my life, I’d be spinning in circles and I’d never have any peace. I’d be a mess. But thankfully, I have God beside of me. And He has given me this life because He knew that I could handle it. He knew that no one else but me, could handle my life. Even when I wonder and question why I’m going through certain things, I’m often reminded that this life was made for me. God has given it to me, because He knew that I could handle it. Think about all the things you have accomplished in your Christian walk. Have you stayed in constant prayer? Are you studying your bible daily? Have you maybe witnessed to a neighbor? Or even…how long ago was it that you shared a bible verse on Facebook? It may not seem like a lot to you, but to others it can absolutely make their entire day. You might even plant a seed for the lost. You might bring a person to Christ. Little things mean everything. Or do you sit in the background and keep your voice quiet? Never sharing God’s word or showing someone love. Do you watch TV or scroll through social media all night instead of setting time aside to read your Devotions? You’ll never spiritually grow if you’re not willing to work for God. Now I can’t sit here and lecture you guys when these are things that I need to be working on too. But to grow as a Christian…To be happy and see growth in your life, you must follow through. You must be willing to be a servant for God and use your voice for whatever He wants you to use it for. Whatever He calls you to do; whether it be singing, preaching, sharing in the community. Do it! God will use you and make you happier than ever! He’ll bless you! It’s okay to not know God’s will for you just yet. But don’t just sit there; pray that God will send you something to do. Be seeking Him diligently and never cease to study your Bible. Always be ready for what might come your way, for what He might send you. So as I wrap things up, I want to ask you, are you happy with your testimony? Or could you do and be even more? Don’t just sit there, follow through, get God’s word across! Share God’s love with someone who you never thought you would. You never know, just one word could change a person’s life. If just one more soul turned to God, wouldn’t it be worth it? When you think you’re all alone, just know that God is there, holding your hand. He loves you and wants to see you grow as a person; and the only way you will grow is if you are willing to serve Him and obey Him. You only live one life, make for sure that you live it right…and to the absolute fullest. Keep Smiling, rosepetalsandfaith <3
