Thank the One Who Has GivenWhen I think of all my blessings...I am humbled. The gifts God has given me, they're too many to count. I am undeserving, yet Jesus calls me worthy. I think sometimes in life, we get so caught up in the bad times and heartaches, that we forget about all the blessings. November is notorious for Thanksgiving in America. What are you thankful for? You don't necessarily have to be an American citizen to celebrate Thanksgiving. In fact, Psalm 30:12 says: "To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever." So, really we should constantly be giving God praise. Why?
The list could go on and on. That's why I made you a 10 things I'm thankful for printout! Print it out and write down on the blanks 10 things you're blessed with. :) It's actually sad how much we take for granted. We have so many things and people in our lives that other people do not. God has blessed us with so much. I want you to know, if you don't have much, it's not the fact that God isn't good, because He is. Place Him first, and you'll be the richest person on earth. In fact, I posted a blogpost last week (click here to read), about how a poor woman gave Jesus her all, when her all was just a mite. Yet, Jesus said what she put in amounted to so much more than all the rich people there. When God is all you have, you have all you'll ever need. ;) Not just this time of the year, but all the time, be thankful and thank the One who has given. Keep Smiling, rosepetalsandfaith <3 (Pstttt!
