I've been hovering over this computer and keyboard for quite some time now, trying to decide what to write. If you haven't noticed by now, I'm the kind of girl who wants to do her very best to encourage someone else or bring a smile to their face. I love to see someone's face light up, to share in their happiness, and most of all, to see people fall deeply in love with Jesus. Since wrapping up and publishing "Finding Love" (the final book in "The Lawson Series"), I've been soaking up the sunshine and enjoying this new, wonderful season of life that God has given me. I guess you could say I've kind of paused to relax for a bit. But I'm thankful to be able to sit down and write something for you today. Problem is, I've had a huge case of the "I don't know what to write" blues recently. Sometimes it just feels like I don't know what to put out next. But then it hit me...just keep going. Just keep encouraging. So today I'm popping onto your screen to remind you to do just that... Just keep going. Life isn't this straight road without bumps, detours, mountains, and valleys. I'll be the first to admit that. A lot of times it's this curvy, winding road that seems to get harder to travel as time wears on. We often question God and His ways. Why we didn't get the job. Why we didn't make the team. Why the relationship didn't work out. Why people dislike us for our faith. It'd be so easy to throw our fists up at God and give up. But what happens here doesn't compare to what He has in store for those who wait on Him. So you didn't get the job...what if God has a better one in store for you that will glorify Him? You didn't make the team...that's okay. You're a part of God's team. And He always wins. That relationship didn't work out...Wanna know something? If you'll stay true and faithful to Him, He'll see the pure desires of your heart and give you a partner who you can serve the Lord with...and it's gonna be soooooo worth it. People dislike you for your faith? People hated Jesus too. But guess what's in store for those who love Him? A crown of righteousness. So friend, just keep going. Put one foot step of faith in front of the other. With Jesus, hope is on the horizon, all things are possible. He sees what you're going through and if you've dedicated your life to Him, He's never going to leave you. I truly believe that you know what He's capable of. Don't doubt Him. He's LITERALLY the same God that provided Ruth with Boaz. The same God who saved Daniel from the mouths of lions. So start expecting and knowing He's going to answer your prayers. Start thanking Him. Just keep going. He'll reward your faithfulness to Him. You May Also Enjoy:
